In Costa Rica’s party town of Tamarindo, Aqua is by far the most popular place to see and be seen, where tourists and locals mingle under the disco lights. Premier DJs spin everything from reggae to dancehall to electronica and Top 40 hits, and a swarm of Tamarindo’s beautiful people is always rocking the dancefloor. Beautiful guy and girl bartenders will pour you drinks from the long bar as you check out the crowd in the mirror on the opposite wall.
Every Saturday night, Aqua has an incredible Open Bar special for two hours with a negligible cover charge of just $4. Saturdays are busy, so if you want to be where the party is happening, Aqua is your place.
Mondays are ladies night, with free drinks for girls and lots of them (girls, that is). Friday nights are a revolving door of excellent themed parties and non-themed parties, always with drink specials and great music.
From the deck where you enter Aqua, which is one storey above street level, you can look across to Tamarindo beach – a perfect place to hang out when you need a quick break from the action inside. Also part of the bar is That’s Amore, Tamarindo’s new Italian restaurant owned and managed by true-blue Italians who know and love good food.
Enjoy a delicious plate of pasta or a caprese salad as you watch the sun set over the horizon beyond the beach, mere meters away.
