Carlos and Carlos Restaurant is Tamarindo beach’s newest restaurant, serving world-renowned Italian food in a traditional setting. The owner of Carlos & Carlos got his start in Chicago where he opened up his first restaurant to great success. After that, he opened restaurants by the same name and theme in the international airport in Guatemala, then a hugely successful one in Playa Flamingo here in Guanacaste province in Costa Rica. Due to that popularity, he recently opened up his latest restaurant in Tamarindo, which has been very successful so far.
The cuisine is focused on the North Italian flavors featuring creamy, buttery dishes and rich desserts. And luckily, the prices don’t reflect the upscale nature of Carlos & Carlos.
